MUSICAL ENCOURAGEMENT:
-If you are studying piano, good for you! Stay with it and remember the old saying "practice makes perfect"!
-If you know how to play the piano, but it has been a while, don't wait any longer to sit down to the ivories! Life is short, and music can be such a blessing in your life. Play for your own enjoyment!
-Many things will press for your time and energy. It is good to remember that the urgent things are not always the most important. The schedule and cares of life can overtake the hours of the day. If we choose to carve out the space for time spent with our music, we may be surprised at how much joy we find in the experience.
-Stalemates can can be discouraging and frustrating. One has been surrounding me for months, but I have recently found that something has changed, broken through, and creativity and productivity are flowing again. What makes the difference? Probably the healing of time, adjustments in my perspective and attitude, and choosing to not give up. What I have learned will be expressed through my music. You may turn a corner, and suddenly find things have changed for the better in the difficult time you are in!
